    Golf

So yesterday, Kyle Stanley came from 8 shots back to win his first PGA tournament at the Waste Management Open. Also noteworthy besides coming from that far back to win was the fact that the prior weekend he had reached the final hole on Sunday with a 3 shot lead, spun his 3rd shot wedge off the green and into the water, and went on to make a triple bogey 8 at the hole. Stanley then lost the playoff to Brandt Snedeker.

Up next is the Pebble Beach Pro-Am, where Tiger Woods will make his first appearance of the year on the PGA tour.

I decided a couple of days ago that I'm not missing my 3rd 4th 5th 6th straight golf season, and I will be playing at least one round this year.

For those who think golf isn't a manly game, http://blog.chron.com/newswatch/2012...led-with-club/

A 48-year-old man was nearly killed after being impaled in the groin with a golf club during a fight at a golf course, according to a Fort Worth Star-Telegram story.

Clay Carpenter, 48, was recovering after the club punctured his femoral artery, causing him to lose blood like a “leaky faucet,” according to the newspaper.

The fight broke out over a dispute about Carpenter’s golfing partners playing through a group of four men. Carpenter told the newspaper he was stabbed with the shaft of a golf club when he was on top of another man.

The men called 911, pleading with operators to send a helicopter ambulance.

That doesn't make golf manly. That makes fighting manly.
Blog is back. Get it while it still exists!

Latest post from 11/13/18: 9 Amazing Facts About Lions that Will Shock - I'll admit, I kind of phoned this one. But the lion facts are 100% real and the Lion King images are 100% without permission.

No surprise that the pro-golf lobby would try to twist this to support their nefarious agenda, though.

You realize that Tony Romo is playing in the Pebble Beach Pro-Am and he has tried to qualify for the US Open? You can obviously how being a scratch golfer has turned Tony Romo into an elite NFL QB.

I don't always obviously, even when I can, but Tony Romo can obviously with the best.
    2017 NFL Loser’s Pool Champion!

He’d leave little notes for himself saying ‘You are not a chicken,’ although sometimes he thought he hwas lying.
