The video quality wasn't very good through HBO Now but it was still very much an enjoyable episode. The game is still on even when the dead have broken through the wall.

HBO Now was great here after a reload on my Roku. Good foundation-laying episode.

I watched it on cable like a Gen Xer. Couldn't hear that well because I'm a Gen Xer - I like to listen with headphones on the Xbox but didn't want to deal with streaming issues. My daughter's bedroom is above the TV and I had to crank it louder than I do for an NFL game (I hate HDR) and keep the remote in hand the entire time in case the music swelled or whatever.

I actually didn't have any quality issues until the post-credits stuff. Consider me impressed since I'm sure an absurd percentage of internet traffic at that time was streaming HBO.

That Chernobyl mini-series looks really interesting, HBO might get me to stick around a bit longer because of that.

Streaming service issues can be either the processing issue or the distribution issue. HBO uses Amazon cloud service for the former and Level 3 CDNs for the latter. And the issues are likely regional, since it's not like everybody is connecting to the same server.
