Bartolo's start was amazing and an awful Texas team win their 2nd straight against the 'Stros. Got my first look at the Rangers new second baseman, Ian Kinsler-Falafel.

Brandon Belt had a 21-pitch at bat in the first inning in today's game, the longest at bat in recorded MLB history. In his second, in the third, he singled on the 8th pitch. At that point, he had seen a full 40% of Angels starter Jaime Barria's 72 pitches for the game.

The Yankees didn't have a single player in his thirties in the starting lineup today. I honestly can't remember the last time that happened other than meaningless September games with expanded rosters.

The previous record was set 20 years ago. The pitcher in that at-bat is still in the league.
This is not my new signature.

He chased an awful lot of bad pitches in that at-bat. A good player would have just taken the walk. I'm not saying, I'm just saying.

Clogging up the pitch counts. You don't win rigzuh with that!
