    1966 Draft

Is set up on Statslab: http://cl.kralc.net/statslab/draftWarroom.php

Reggie Jackson is a Cleveland Indian. The Buffalo Blues are up with the second pick. The clock won't start til Thursday morning but don't let that stop you from drafting now!

There seems to be only one choice possible for Buffalo's pick at #2 overall, but the history of OTBL leagues is full of draft day curveballs.

Depends. Are you going by ratings or by history?

    Both. And, Seaver it was.

The CL keeps loading up on stellar young pitching. That's one good way to close the still considerable gap between the two big leagues.

New Orleans was eyeing Richie Hebner and isn't happy that he went to a division rival.. But they're happy to get Earl C Williams, immediately the best of a small glut of decent catcher prospects for the Crescents. If nothing else, he should add a power bat the team needs.. although when that bat will arrive in the majors is anyone's guess.

Miami added two players to the draft list so we're ready once the MLB team selects.

Man that was a tough choice between a SP, RP and a position player.

The position player was raw (1/2 star) but New Orleans needs bats..

The RP we were looking at is definitely major league ready and young, but in the end the choice was Ken Brett with the assumption that you can never have too much Starting Pitching - and this lets Rudy May go back to the bullpen where he's probably as good as the RP we were looking at..
