    1926 season

I'm torn about who to take with the #1 overall pick. Mel Ott is the obvious choice, but it looks like he didn't import that well and there's a catcher who my scout just loves. The catcher wasn't that good in real life, but if my scout is anywhere close to right about him it won't matter. I'm about 50-50 at this point, if the draft started now I don't know who I'd take.

Dang, I wasn't expecting to get outbid for Vaclav Kleinveld.

My scout likes him a lot, I threw out a bid myself and I really don't have room for him.

There were a couple of guys my scout rated pretty similarly, and when it came down to it, I chose Hansl Franz because of the name. He should get an extra half star at least because of that.

Ditto for me. I didn't think anyone would go that high. Guess I was wrong.

At least none of you guys got in-game emails saying he was yours. Apparently Hotblack likes to toy with my emotions.

I have to admit that I'm let down that darkhorse hasn't written anything yet about the genius of Bibb Falk given that he finally stayed healthy and produced a .365/.419/.527 line and a five win season but the Bronchos will carry on somehow.

I got about a half dozen bids for him. He might be the most popular indy player in league history.

Seattle's never been shy about going large for a plum international free agent. IIRC, they forked over 50K for Hector Dorres back when that was unheard of.
