Looking to deal veteran OF Wally Post. This guy does nothing but hit and drive in runs and he's cheap, like really cheap at $44K signed through next season. Carl Warwick is ready to take over and I signed him to a big extension so I need to play him. I am looking for a starting catcher, pitchers are always welcome, and prospects of all flavors.

3B Julian Javier is available. Age 27, 3+ WAR the past two seasons and on pace to put up 4+ this year. He's a free agent at the end of this season and I can't afford to re-sign him. Looking for cost-controlled, major-league-ready player(s) in return (preferably pitching).

Atlanta has some guys available for free.

C Dick Brown - A catcher with a power bat, hit 31 home-runs the last time he was a full time starter. Is owed $150,000 in 65' and 66'.
1B Ed Bouchee - A solid first baseman, who has been worth 3 WAR each of the past three seasons. His contract is cheap only $90,000 with a team option for next year.
3B Andy Carey - A solid third baseman, had a down year in 64' but was still worth 2.5 WAR. He is owed $350,000 in 65'.
LF Walt Bond - An excellent Left Fielder, solid bat and good defense but is signed to an expensive contract. I'd be willing to throw in a prospect to move the contract.
RF George Alusik - A solid outfielder, but a long contract I'd love to get out of.

New Orleans has a guy, Bobby Richardson (2B) who might be able to help a team now.

His contract sucks, I'll be honest.. $732,800 until 1970... I have no idea what the previous owner was thinking. He's a solid hitter and 2B though, and had two great seasons before this one. He's hitting well below that bar, but maybe just needs a fresh start.

Pretty much expecting no takers, but I'll give him for free if anyone has financial space for him. To sweeten the pot, I'll add in Hector Valle (C) for free.

He probably won't help you now but gives a piece for later or in a trade.
