Hehe, no, but the White Sox, Tigers, Cardinals, Indians and Royals had some pretty epic runs (good and bad) through 2035 or so. I'll try to post those screens today.
So where's all the mad rappers at? It's like a jungle in this habitat.

    Blech. Here's a problem I haven't seen before.

    Team A's final record: 70-30
    Team B's final record: 69-30

(These aren't exact, but they illustrate the point properly.)

OOTP evidently thinks this is a tie, because the game schedules a one-game playoff following the season. (Actually, I hope and pray this is the case, because Team C in third place finished 68-30, and the scary thought is that maybe it's just looking at the loss column.) That's not the way it would have happened in 1884 - Team A would just win the pennant.

I tried just canceling the game, hoping it would just move to the playoffs. It didn't work. The game reschedules the "tie-breaker" for the following day.

    So here are my options:

    - Retcon the league so that Team B demands a one-game playoff, and let the result decide the winner. That requires a little retelling of the story, but whatever - I'm obviously not perfectly following history anyway.
    - Force Team A to win the game so they get the pennant. That lets the team that "would have" won the pennant win, but it would mean there are stats for a bogus game in the standings.

What do you fubes think? Which is better w/r/t the integrity of the league?

Option A. Ever since I started playing OOTP, I've spent at least some of the time making up stories to cover for the bullshit the game did.
I understand that and fully understand that and I think we had a previous President who did not understand that but I understand that and we have spoken about this before.

Yeah, I was basically 70-30 in favor of this anyway so that's what I did.

The weather is not bad today. It's partly cloudy and 43 degrees.
The wind is blowing in from center at 20 miles per hour.

In that case, it should just say "the weather is San Francisco," since 43 degrees and 20 mph winds is what it's like every day of the year.

OK. Start a fresh game in 1901 (or whatever year. I did 1901) and check the fielding ratings. My fielders are suddenly all within a couple of points of average on a 20-80 scale. This is what the 1919 Texas League did, and now it's everybody.

It's really a shame. Markus has put together a game with immense promise to be exactly what I've thought of as the ideal baseball replay game, and two months after release it still doesn't work properly.
