Hey everyone. Just a reminder that October started a new Federal Fiscal Year, so when reviewing timeliness on October reviews and beyond, only applications received after October 1, 2017 are reviewable for item 68.

Let's make this the best Federal Fiscal Year ever, guys!

My favorite holiday is Federal Fiscal New Year’s Eve because of my anticipatory glee over getting to review applications for Item 68!

Mr. gross68, you should know full well that the federal fiscal year has no effect on item 69, which is the type of interview conducted with the household. I might expect such a question from a newer person, but not somebody who has been around as long as you have.

    Also: haha nice

Received a Florida Department of Revenue mailing at work yesterday containing the following information on a one-page notice:

Section 28. Effective January 1, 2018, paragraph (ooo) is added to subsection (7) of section 212.08, Florida Statutes, to read:

Products used to absorb menstrual flow.—Products used to absorb menstrual flow are exempt from the tax imposed by this chapter. As used in this paragraph, the term "products used to absorb menstrual flow" means products used to absorb or contain menstrual flow, including, but not limited to, tampons, sanitary napkins, pantiliners, and menstrual cups.

Look, you got the same right to buy products used to absorb menstrual flow as they do - don’t blame them for your choice not to!
